There are many ways of resetting FS2004 to its default configuration including deleting the configuration file (FS9.CFG) or using the Start menu option provided. However the simplest is as follows:

To reset FS2004 to its default settings:

• Hold the CTRL and SHIFT keys while FS2004 is loading

Note: if you want to back up the previous configuration, you will need to find and take a copy of FS9.CFG.
