RIAT Fairford is designed for FS2002 and FS2004. It can be used alone with the default Microsoft scenery or alongside popular add-on sceneries such as VFR Terrain, VFR Photographic Scenery and UK2000 Scenery/British Airports.

VFR Terrain

RIAT Fairford is compatible with VFR Terrain by Visual Flight.

VFR Photographic Scenery

RIAT Fairford is compatible with VFR Photographic Scenery by Visual Flight.

UK2000 Scenery

RIAT Fairford is compatible with Gary Summons' UK2000 Scenery (Part 5, Midlands) provided that RIAT Fairford is positioned higher in Scenery Library: 

• RIAT Fairford installed after UK2000 Part 5: You should not need to take any further action after installing Fairford RIAT. If you wish to revert to the UK2000 version of Fairford, temporarily disable RIAT Fairford in Scenery Library.
• UK2000 Part 5 installed after RIAT Fairford: Use the Move Up button in Scenery Library to move RIAT Fairford up the list of Scenery Areas until it is above UK2000 Scenery Part 5.  Consult FS2002 Help or FS2004 Learning Center for details of how to use Scenery Library.

British Airports

British Airports is the retail packaged version of Gary Summons' UK2000 Scenery. RIAT Fairford should be compatible with Vol.4, Central England provided that RIAT Fairford is positioned higher in Scenery Library.  If you have installed British Airports Vol 4 after installing RIAT Fairford, use the Move Up button in Scenery Library to move RIAT Fairford up the list of Scenery Areas until it is above British Airports Vol 4.

Other terrain scenery

RIAT Fairford should be compatible with most terrain mesh sceneries, though this cannot be guaranteed as it is impossible to test all of the many different sceneries available.

Landclass Scenery

RIAT Fairford is believed to be compatible with add-on landclass sceneries.

Default Microsoft Scenery

RIAT Fairford is compatible with the default Microsoft scenery in FS2002 and FS2004.
