FS2004

Full compatibility

Visual Flight Farnborough is fully compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight.

FSX

Partial compatibility, full compatibility planned. An FSX-specific version is in development and will made be available as a free upgrade to all purchasers as soon as it is released

Visual Flight Farnborough currently works in FSX but with some problems, including the fact that the installer does not currently detect FSX and is not able to add the scenery to FSX Scenery Library. There are also some display issues with the ground textures and some transparent textures. It is also essential that anyone using the current version of the scenery in FSX should remove the incompatible BGL from the scenery folder (see ReadMe in product).

FS2002

Not supported but may work

Visual Flight Farnborough has not been tested on FS2002 but may work, albeit with some restrictions, e.g. no AFCAD/AI. Anyone purchasing Visual Flight Farnborough should note that it is not supported for FS2002 and no fixes will be available for any problems encountered.

Other scenery add-ons

FS2004 add-ons

As well as being compatible with the default FS2004 scenery, Visual Flight Farnborough is believed to be compatible with most scenery add-ons for the UK including:

• VFR Photographic Scenery for FS2002/FS2004
• VFR Terrain
• All other current terrain mesh add-ons for FS2004
• UK2000 Scenery/British Airports (but see read me file when installing)
• All landclass, replacement texture, roads, terrain and other add-ons

FSX add-ons

In addition to the default FSX scenery (standard and deluxe), it is anticipated that the FSX version of Visual Flight Farnborough will be compatible with the following FSX scenery add-ons*:

• VFR Generation X scenery from Horizon Simulation
• VFR Real scenery from Just Flight
