Farnborough Airport & Airshow for FSX coming soon
A spectacular FSX-specific version of Farnborough Airport and Airshow is currently in the final stages of development, Visual Flight have announced today.
Making full use of new techniques such as specularity and bump mapping, Visual Flight Farnborough for FSX is designed from the ground up (literally) to make full use of the spectacular new design techniques that FSX offers, and these should be ideally suited to get the very best out of Farnborough's unique combination of futuristic control tower and space age buildings along with the fascinating fabric and textures of the historic hangars co-existing on the site.
With the release of FSX, lead designer Carl Edwards is able to unleash even more of the skills picked up in a career ranging from from lead scenery designer for Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix 4 to TV and film animation upon Flight Simulator, allowing him to exploit the new capabilities of FSX to the maximum, and in so doing taking scenery design to a new level.
